A trusted Midrand nursery school since 1998
Robin’s Nest Nursery & Pre-School is a family-run creche and pre-school in Noordwyk, Midrand. What began as a small home-based nursery has grown into a much-loved registered pre-school — while holding onto the intimacy and warmth that families first came for.
Our story
We opened our doors in 1998 with a handful of children and one conviction: that a pre-school should feel like a home away from home. More than twenty-five years later, we are still guided by it.
Many of our teachers have been part of the Robin’s Nest family for years, and it is not unusual for a parent who attended as a child to enrol their own. Children who finish with us often continue at Robin House Primary School, so the transition to primary school is familiar rather than daunting.
We are a registered pre-school, EMIS number 700902433, operating under Robins Nest Midrand Holding Company.

Our team
Our teachers and assistants are chosen as much for their kindness as their qualifications. Classes are deliberately kept small so that every child is genuinely known — their strengths, their wobbles and what makes them laugh.
Support staff, kitchen staff and caregivers are part of the same team. Whether it is a scraped knee, a fussy eater or a big milestone, someone familiar is always close by.
Partnering with parents
You know your child best. We share daily feedback, celebrate milestones and raise concerns early, so there are never surprises. Our door is open — call, WhatsApp or come and chat.
Special days, concerts and celebrations are a big part of our year, and families are always invited in.
