Robin's Nest Nursery & Pre-School (Robins Nest Midrand Holding Company) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information we collect
When you submit a tour request, enquiry or pre-application, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, mobile number, your child’s name, age or date of birth, preferred start date and any message or notes you choose to add.
We ask you not to submit sensitive information such as medical conditions, medication or special needs through website forms. Those details are collected securely during formal enrolment.
Why we collect it
We use your information only to respond to your request: to confirm a tour, answer an enquiry, check availability in an age group and guide you through admissions. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Consent
Every form on this site asks for your explicit consent before you submit it. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, and we will stop processing your information and delete it unless we are legally required to keep it.
Storage and security
Submissions are stored in a secure, access-controlled database hosted by our website provider. Access is limited to authorised school staff who need it to respond to you. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and tour information is kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up with you about places. Pre-application information is kept for the duration of the admissions process and, where a child is enrolled, becomes part of our school records.
Third parties
This site embeds Google Maps to show our location and may display publicly available Google reviews. These services are provided by Google and are subject to Google’s own privacy policy. We do not share your form submissions with any third party for marketing.
Children’s information
Information about a child is only ever submitted by a parent or legal guardian, who confirms consent when submitting a form. We treat all children’s information as confidential.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you or your child, request that we correct it, or request that we delete it. Please contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
